The results of our 2023 property management employment survey are in! You can click the link below for the full report, but if you are short on time here are three key take aways!


  1. There is a clear gap in industry experience between 3 - 5 years. This is due the exodus of property mangers leaving the industry through Covid-19. The good news is that we are seeing some more experienced PM’s coming back into the industry and we are starting to see some of the juniors moving through.

  2. Work from home flexibility is the number 1 perk to attract talent. Property managers felt 1 - 2 days working from home was the sweet spot, however in reality the average is less than 1 day. This means that even offering a single work from home day can help you to stand out as an employer.

  3. When looking at the quality of training and onboarding, there is a clear gap in the perception of employees and employers. High quality onboarding and ongoing career development is one of the key things a potential employer is looking for in an employer.
